My Holden Astra citi 2001 for a fifth gear at 80 km / h shows engine speed 2,500. Is this normal for this Holden? Compared to Ford falcon 1996 when it reaches 80km / h the engine speed is 1,500

It is a manual transmission. In fifth gear at 80km / h
indicates 2500 rpm What could be the reason for such rapid rotation of the motor.
