Hi Guys,

bought me friday all the rubbers to replace the old ones on my HJ Ute. Now i discovered problems with the outer doorbelts. The Laydy in the rubber shop gave me the RDB 1050 and itd written on there "Door Belt HQ HJ HX WB RIGHT(LEFT) HAND FRT. OUTER 4DR". Is that the right one for a HJ Ute?
Fitted today one but I have now gaps between outer doorpanel/doorbelt and it wouldn't touch the glas at all.
So I can't figure out whats wrong, maybe one of u can help me out?

Thanks for any answer

You have purchased the correct part for your Ute RDB1050 fits all except Monaro, It is a common misconception that the rubber has to touch the glass, it must seal at the bottom of the glass lifter when the window is up. They are the same as genuine as we use to supply GMH with them.

Hi Les,

thanks for ur reply. Thougth first as well is has to touch the seal of the glas lifter. But I changed the Bailly channel as well and now when I wind the windows up they wouldnt touch the seal, I got there a gap of 2-3 mm. Bought the same Bailly channel as before and it seems to fit perfect. I run out of ideas what could be wrong. And i must say Im really happy with the bailly channel.
