Mate can anyone from rarespares who reads this tell me the progess on the hg monaro gts sandle wood trims i ordered last august. i sent in my tops off my doors and have had no trims returned. Coming up to about 10 months waiting..starting to get worried. I rang and got second in charge and apparently they were flying to sydney to retrieve my door tops. can someone get back to me as i am concerned you have lost my door tops and they are items you can not replace. the poor rare spares agent in albury is over me ringing him the poor bugger.I chose rarespares as you are a acredited supplier. Iam loosing confidence. If you cant supply my trims please return my rare door tops i supplied. thanks Nick 0412947537

door trims are taking 6-12 months through rare spares because there is so much demand for them at the moment i guess, mine took 9 months. i have just had another set done through rare spares perth, i think they use a different trimmer than the eastern states rare spares as they only took 3 months, and came in MUCH better quality

Hello Nick
As you are aware I have personally spoken to you on three separate occasions quite recently regarding your Monaro door trims. By now you would also be aware that Rare Spares are both embarrassed and concerned that you and a number of other customs have been waiting for several months to get a delivery date for your re-trimmed door trims. Unfortunately Nick we have been unable to get any sense from the supplier who for whatever reason has ignored all phone calls, faxes, emails and sms messages. Whilst this is totally unacceptable in anyone’s language, the fact is the supplier is located in Sydney and we are in Melbourne.
As I stated to you during our recent discussions we are sending our Deputy General Manager up to Sydney next Tuesday (May 13th) for the sole purpose of sorting out all the problems associated with this supplier; we may even purchase the business ourselves! Regardless, Nick the priority will be to ensure that your door trim tops are secure and if we are unable to get your trims completed, then we will simply return the tops. We indeed appreciate that this supplier as caused us all quite a degree of grief and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. However, please be assured that we are determined to bring this issue to a satisfactory conclusion by next Tuesday. We will advise you of the outcome of our meeting with the supplier no later than Wednesday May 14th.
Regards
David N. Rayner
General Manager

thanks Dave. I never heard back from you the other day so i feared the worse for you on my door tops. Once again I also said it wasnt your fault but the supplier. I thought the sale manager was going in that week we spoke so my mistake on not listening properly.I appoligise Can we try the supplier in perth???... I still want to purchase them off rare spares as it is a good product like i said to you on the phone. Keep the door tops untill I get my trims mate but just check they havent lost them thats I just need re assurance at the moment as you know how rare this stuff is becoming. And i knew you were alway in this forum so its a good way to keep track. Many thanks for your extended effort and i will be ordering two rubber set from rarespares for my hk and hg monaro shortly and a few other top quality item.

I find all this door trim talk a bit on the strange side. Eastern Auto Upholstery do repo Monaro and all other door trims to a high standard in my book. I have two sets one on a HT Monaro the other a HJ Four door. They have the correct stamping and all. The strange part in they are in Melbourne and you could throw a rock from the Rare’s store in Bayswater and hit Eastern Auto Upholstery.

They are still in business, however we have suspended all door trim sales until we can get a reliable supplier

Is the supplier the same that the sydney rare spares use? If so is the supplier at peakhurst?

he is still there, but join the cue for waiting, even if you go there, you will get the same answer, so save ya fuel, phone calls and time. i'll give ya a tip, contact C&N trimming in sunshine or somewhere like that, tell him you want a set of trims and see how what happens, you might be in for a surprise, he seems to be the only one that can get any trims out of him
serge at winner products is by far the better option and is tooling up for other models as well, not just holden
