G'day all,

My car has finally been finished and tuned. It made 320rwkw at 17 psi and 717.3 Nm or torque. Pretty happy with the results.

It was done by Silverwater Automotive Services.

A fair few mods:
CP forged pistons
Argo H beam rods
bottom end balanced, blue printed
balance shaft removed
cam
double row timing chain
valve springs etc
heads flowed
block 'o' ringed
YT 1.8 rockers, molly pushrods
bigger throttle body, moved to driver's side
xtreme clutch
kaaz diff
kkr 560 turbo
kkr 50 mm external wastegate
autronic sm4 ecu, 3 maps low medium and high boost, MAFless tune
MACE plenum spacer and insulator
oil cooler
etc, etc ( a few more but can't think of them off the top of my head)

hey vyturbo,
if you upload you pic to photobucket, and or tinypics, when you have done that, you copy the "img tag, in bucket, or tinypic,, then when you are in your post, you paste that "img tag, in the post,, and then the image will appear!
Q,, you have 320rwkw?? how much is the kw at the engine? without the box, diff?? etc?
trying to find out losses for boxs and diffs
cheers

hey vcb,

Thanks, but i cant access photobucket, tinypics etc from my work account. Also Ive just built a new home and havent got internet access there yet.

Not sure how many kw at engine. Ive been told there is about a 25% loss through drivetrain. Dont know if thats accurate or not.
The car made 370rwkw at 7000rpm and 1.5 bar (22psi). Wanted to be a bit conservative and get some longevity out of set-up so backed rev limiter back to 6300 and boost back to 17psi. This is when it made 320rwkw.

Just a quick update. Went to drags a few weeks back and had a few runs on slicks. Best time was 11.88 @ 124mph. Very happy with the time and even more happy with the speed. Definitely the potential for a lower time.

It is a fair bit faster than when i had the vortech blower on. Best time was 12.2 @ 118mph.

Also Leith i emailed you some pics ages ago. What happened to them?

Thanks i was happy with the time, but even happier with the speed. I have improved the time to 11.53, but surprisingly the speed was slightly slower.
My biggest trouble is the 60 foot times. Fastest so far has only been a 1.9. I just gotta strike a happy medium between taking off too slow or sitting there smoking it up. A bit more driver skill wouldnt go astray either.

High boost setting is 17 psi. This equated to about 19psi before the headwork was done.

let a bit of pressure out of the slicks. it may grip better and give you a faster 60ft.
