If the car has the bracket on the inner guard, then they would have been fitted to the car at some stage.

307 manuals could option the radius rods, it appears that most had them, despite what the parts book says.

Dual exhaust was 327 only.

Warren as you have said on this post earlier, "As you can imagine, there would have been lots of 307 4 speeds made during the period that the GTS 327 was not available, due to too high a demand"

I seen reference to this shortage before on other forums where people have made comment that dad or grandpa wanted the 327 but that there was a shortage of engines. Or the other one, like has also been said here that "the customer wanted air conditioning so they opted for the 307 manual".
Was this period of time 327s were not available basically the break point until the second series engine came out ?.
This period I imagine would have been different from plant to plant until the release of the next series engine. Thanks Oily

The 307 manual was available right from intro, with many being built during the time of production of the first type 327.

Yes there would have been some buyers during the time the 327 was not available.

The break point is the same time for all plants, the VIN number is different for each plant as they all produced different numbers of cars.
