Hi 81837,

There is normally only one X in a Monaro set of numbers/codes and this is on the TRIM line.

The approximate build date is April 1970.

Thanks Shifty350, the Xs represent digits, its my mates new car and I didnt want all the numbers on display.

Being so late in the HT period, should this car have an ADR compliance plate?

I think you will find that they have worked this out via the small amount of info on the chassis/body numbers hence approximate build date
