does anyone know the correct lengths for the monaro saginaw tail shaft to ten bolt. i have a v 8 one but it seems to not be long enough but if i compare it to the shifter picture in the hk manual it looks correct. the yoke seems to sit way back. I think it might be for powerglide. So if someone has a speed ne that the want to swap no worries. thanks to all

Saginaw and Powerglide are the same tailsaft, for the same engine and diff. 53.71" is what Warren and Ben quote in the bible for the Chev, Saginaw/Powerglide with 10 bolt

Yes, the 53.71-inch measurement is from the centre of the front uni joint to the centre of the rear.
