Rank: Member Reputation: Groups: Registered Joined: 4/10/2008(UTC) Posts: 77		Can anyone tell me if you can change the outer gears in a banjo diff so you can use say coarse spline axles in an original fine spline diff ( 3.55 RATIO ) TO A COARSE SPLINE DIFF ( 2.78 RATIO )

Those sun gears are the difference between coarse and fine spline centres. Not sure how its done though as I have never done it myself. From memory you have to change the gear and the cone on each side too if its an LSD. _______________________________________________________ If we all had the same (good) taste, who would buy all the Fords?

All 6-cyl HQs had coarse spline axles & they would be easier to find than Toranas. Dr Terry.
