Hi i have a HQ 1 tonner tailshaft which has the big Unis, is there a uni available so i can fit it to a standard HQ V8 Diff yoke which has the smaller cup size.

Yes. Its got 1.125" cups on one axis and 1" on the other. Ask at an auto parts shop. Rares should have them.

This shaft is obviously not in a 1 Tonner at present? If you had it shortened, did they use the same end? Might have been easier to get a regular V8 end fitted when it was shortened and that way the regular universal could be used. If you are looking for a universal then it sounds like the shaft hasnt been balanced yet. Didnt that get done when it was shortened? GTS 350s use the same big yokes/universals.

maybe hes just changed the diff in his tonner to a ute/van one?

Tailsaft is going into a Mitsubishi Triton fitted with a VR V6, needed the length of the 1 tonner to replace the original 2 piece shaft. Diff we are using is out of a VK Commodore V8.
