T350 in a VK Calais? How do imake the speedo work?

Yes the VK still has a cable - of sorts! The speedo is fed it's electronic signal from the speed sensor fitted to the cruise control transducer - mounted on the RH strut tower below the brake master cylinder. The transducer

All V or W series Holden (W includes HZ and WB) between about mid 1979 and late 1982 had a TH350 if originally fitted with a 308 and auto. Look for M38 on the body plate. I'm pretty sure the HZ never had the cruise control option though
