My Vk Calais speedo is always all over the place and i was told today that the V8 Calais didnt come with Turbo 350 boxes although this is what mine has. Can anybody tell me how to fix this?

Probably the speedo cable. Yes the VK still has a cable - of sorts!

The speedo is fed it's electronic signal from the speed sensor fitted to the cruise control transducer - mounted on the RH strut tower below the brake master cylinder. The transducer

HZ and VB as well. All V or W series Holden (W includes HZ and WB) between about mid 1979 and late 1982 had a TH350 if originally fitted with a 308 and auto. Look for M38 on the body plate. I'm pretty sure the HZ never had the cruise control option though
