Hi Guys,
I have a mate who wants to convert his HQ to power steer. He has a steering box and pump, but no brackets. It is a HQ 202. I thought VK brackets may work, but before going out and buying some I thought I would ask first. So what is the best and cheapest option here?? What brackets can we use???
Thanks

Use the VC to VH bracket for the pump mounted on the top driver's side.
Make sure you also get the spacers and the rear brace. The screws throught the timng cover are also required.

Yep, 6 cyl Commodore Power steer brackets are HEAPS easier to find than HQ - WB ones. Also, the VC - VH (Blue Motor) front pulleys for power steer and air are much more common than the early version and fit the early 6's too.
