I AM IN THE PROCESS OF FITTING A 2.8LITRE HOLDEN RED 6 TO THE UC TORANA AND AM IN A BIT OF A BIND AS TO WHAT DIFF RATIO I SHOULD USE. M20 GEARBOX, SALISBURY DIFF, TYRES ARE 205/60/13 IM AFTER REASONABLE ECONOMY AS IT WILL BE USED TO CRUISE ON THE HIGHWAY ABOUT 50% OF THE TIME. ANY INPUT WOULD BE ACCEPTED.

If the motor is stock a 3.08 will work well. If the motor is modified you may need to go to a 3.36 to keep it drivable.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |

3.36 is getting to be a rare ratio but now that I have them in my ute I would never complain about any economy issues. If you can find them Id say go for it!
