Yes, behind 253 and 308 but not until pretty late HT. The only HTs that didnt get a trimatic were GTS350 and Brougham - both stayed with the Powerglide.

What about the sixes, the August 72 parts catalogue lists converter housings for them also. Cheers John.

6cyl trimatic replaced the 6cyl powerglide at the same time it did for Holden V8s in HT.

There is PG to HOLDEN V8 housings.
And PG to 6CYL they are different housings.
The Chev PG come as one pice i think.
I think he is looking for a PG housing to fit holden V8 using the 2 speed PG.

I have a Powerglide to suit Holden V8 for sale in WA, south of Perth.

It came from a HT Brougham.

there was or is a bellhousing powerglide to 253/308 on flee bay.
