Early HQ dont distinguish between 308 and 350, so all you can tell is its a Deville plus paint/trim.

its got the turbo 400 and 350 block in the boot an 010 2 bolt mains, looks like the block has been a mooring block at hastings pier for the last 20 years

If it was a TH400 (ie 350) itll have the TH400 speedo cable entry into the firewall and the big uni diff yoke.

carb linkage is another clue to it being 350 powered also engine bay wiring ( very long positive lead ) and p/s hoses ( long and cliped to front sway bar & sway bar also thicker , same as 253 & 308 GTS ) Hope this helps Mark.

Byron roughly where would the speedo cable hole be ?,as Im about to put one in and want to get it close.

Just look at a factory one, and then look at yours. There is a little dimple there to show you where to drill. 32mm holesaw does the trick.

With the engine out look hard for a little indent on the firewall to the passengers side of the column.
