I have read on another forum about Lead Replacement. One guy mentioned that you can use Two Stroke oil instead of spending big bucks on Lead Replacement fluids. Is this safe? Thoughts? s http://www.lycanthia.com http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Lycanthia/

Would be more inclined to pay $60 or so and put in a Moreys injection kit the refill only cost about $20 and last 20 or 30,000 and is designed for the job.

Yes of course you run it on PULP. But you still have to add lead replacement for older cars. My question still stands, is Two Stroke a good lubricant to stop your valves eroding? s http://www.lycanthia.com http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Lycan

Two stroke oil can work, but the stuff you need (high in metal anti-wear additives) is actually more expensive than adding Flashlube or Valvemaster. The cheaper two-stroke oils just won't cut it. You are best off getting flashlube (available in sizes up t

I use premium unleaded with Flash Lube in my GTS and swear by it.
The car loves the fuel even better than the old lead replacement fuel.

Not sure I am doing the right thing then, I use 100ml of flashlube in a tank of ULP for my HZ, but that was passed on from the previous owner, and it is apparant that 2-stroke won't cut it. Does anyone have a better ratio noting that PULP here in Darwin i Edited by user Tuesday, 8 November 2005 10:30:00 PM(UTC)
