Just bought an AU11 Falcon and discovered there is no transmission
dipstick.
how do i check & top up the transmission fluid in it ?

Same as a manual gearbox, raise the car, makine sure it is flat, then on the drivers side of the gearbox there is a bung to undo near the rear of teh gearbox body, fluid level should be at the level of the hole filled by the plug.
Remember to only use the correct Trans Fluid DO NOT USE DEXRON OR SIMILAR FLUIDS, it will stuff the gearbox. FORD removed the dipstick and filler tube around the EF/EL to stop people topping up with Dexron and other fluids thus destroying gearboxes
