Merry Xmas everyone,
My question is will a pair of standard HQ V8 front coil springs fit into a HT Holden front end, I'm also told the HQ stubs will fit the HT frontend.
Which ball joints would I use for the HQ to HT stubs, HQ or HT.
I have a Castlemaine Rod Shop HQ Stub to VP Commodore disc brake conversion kit to install as I want to use the Commodore 15'' rims on my Plymouth.
Regards
Elvis.

HQ and HT stubs are exactly the same, the casting looks different, but they are the same part, all ball joints from HR to WB are the same

No, VP and HQ - WB are different and not interchangable.

If I remember rightly, Elvis is doing a Commodore upgrade/comversion on his front end so he will have matching stud patterns.

Cheers...Dave

Someone must have played with the stud pattern on either your HQ or her WB. All these models use the Chev PCD of 5/120.65mm (or 5/4¾").

Hi QUTE, I think you should check your facts - Forum Mechanic.
No one played with either studs pattern after I sold the alloys to a chappy with a HZ I then purchased a set of series 61 chrome Gragars to fit the my HQ and was told the stud patern was HQ.

Dave is right on this one.

Adding to this DBA will supply HQ-WB front rotors/hubs drilled to suit the Commodore stud pattern if you ask them. Maybe the potential buyer of your wheels had her stud pattern changed by a previous owner & didn't know it
