Whats the go exactly?
Does VE fit on earlier models? or is it that the earlier stuff won't fit on VE?

VE hub diameter is smaller, so it needs to be drilled out to suit pre VE models.
And I did read somewhere that they went up from a 12mm stud to 14mm stud.

VE have a smaller spigot than VB-VZ.
VE wheels need to be machined out to fit earlier models.
Other problem is the M14 VE wheel studs. This prevents pre-VE wheels being fitted to a VE (as they will go over the VE's smaller hub), but they also present a prob when you want to run VE wheels on pre-VE with the 12mm studs - there's not enough metal in the tapered seat to press against, so you need either different inserts (with a 12mm hole) or nuts with a much larger taper.
