Nice looking car there! I actually don't mind it in the one colour. I'd love to see some more photos, close ups and some of the interior. I've seen an old guy in my area cruising a not bad nick aquamarine Kingswood with a black vinyl roof....maybe another project for me, drop a 308 in it :)

Amazing where our cars pop up. In Malta I have seen quite a few Aussie made cars, Holdens, Valiants and Cortina's etc. All personal imports and usually in very schmick condition too.

If you are talking about the Holden U.K register I was a member from 2000 up until a year ago. Only stopped because I moved and the guys lost my new address details.
Anyway, up until about 2003 the HUKR used to have their annual meeting at the Billing Aquadome in Northants. All the G.M brands used to go to this event. AFAIK the Holden boys stopped going because the public liability insurance was too expensive, so they moved the meeting place to the Ace Cafe in London.
Problem is that whereas Billing is a nice easy to get to small town, the Ace Cafe involves driving into the middle of a giant city of 10,000,000 people.
Last time I took the HQ there I got stuck in a traffic jam that took two hours to clear. Just a personal opinion, but unless you live in London, having a meeting place that you can't get to unless you sit in traffic for hours doesn't make for a good day out.
I'd rather get a group of guys together and drive through Wales or Scotland. By the way what are you driving? and where are you based?

Wow that is a nice Falcon you have there. I would imagine you get the 'Is this the car they used in Mad Max?' question all the time.
Speaking of XB Falcons, a few years ago a yellow XB wagon turned up in a field in Sussex. I told Sandy Mercer from the Aus Ford club about it cause I thought you guys might get some useful spares from it. Not sure what happened to it after that.
