Is there any major differences between auto and manual extractors? If so, what are they?

Difference would be to clear the gearbox! Especially if it was a 308 auto.

I think they may fit, not 100% sure though and it'll be brand dependant. Trimatic and 3/4 spd use the same inspection cover, same crossmember, same speedo cable so I reckon you are in with a shot at them fitting. From memory the factory pipes were the same too, only the TH400 stuff was different.

Column shift may get in the road. Extractors normally use short bolts. Manifold should have some longer ones in the middle for hot box for aircleaner.

need more info on pipes and the car. T400 column shift cars are the only ones that have trouble. has car got factory a/c? what pipes? tri-y or tuned(4 into 1 collector type)? brand? part number on head plate? length varies on manufacturer as well

TH400 behind a 253? The adapter plate may have changed the geometry too.
