Hey there was wandering if anyone was able to tell me the ohms empty and full on a HZ fuel sender so i can change the gauge to after market and one that actually works

73 ohms - empty
25 ohms - half scale
10 ohms - full
It would be easier & possibly cheaper to have your current gauge repaired & re-calibrated by an instrument guy. It would also look better. Most aftermarket gauges nowadays are Taiwanese or Chinese cr@p, so be patriotic & fix the original Aussie part. It's already lasted 30 years, fix it & it will go another 30.

I knew my Haynes service manual was wrong! From memory that said it was the other way around, which makes no sence as my fuel sender is reading open circuit and the guage is always at empty. There's no way to get at the sender without dropping the petrol tank is there?
