By a Holden Fan o.O 07/10/10@20:20
hi i,m trying to recover my stolen i.d tags that have gone missing off my sebring orange sandlewood inteior brisbane built HT bathurst monaro. this car belonged to my dad before he passed away so it really means alot to me. Dad and me got it in 1998 from a bloke at knox in melbourne. We put in it for a respray in 2001 and only had it back a few weeks when dad passed on, i was too shattered to go near it and it stayed mostly covered in the garage for 9 years then acouple of months ago i poped the bonnet and my heart neary stopped when i saw that some lowie has ripped my tags. my old man would be rolling in his grave to know that someone has done this to his baby and i feel bad has i promised him i would always look after the ol girl and would never sell it. These tags have gone missing sometime in the last 9 years so they could be well and truly already on a fake and the poor bugger driving it probably wont even know, so i,m kindly asking all people who love monaros and know people that own monaros if the word can be put out on the street about my tags. I dont want them back to sell the car as i wont brake my promise to my dad, this car like all monaros is special and it deserves to have it,s i.d tags back. At the end of the day i know what it is and i,m not intending ti sell it so if i dont get the tags back it wont be the end of the world but of course i would love to have them retuned no questions asked. Surly not that many brisbane built sebring orange with sandlewood interior HT bathurst monaros were built and i,m wondering how they can use these tags when they are off such a rare car? If anyone knows of anyone building or driving a sebring orange HT monaro and they think the car is abit how ya going can they plesae get in touch with me. These i.d tags went missing from cranebourne/mornington area. reward no questionns asked. thanks everyone.

ht bathurst history and stolen i.d tags
By a Holden Fan o.O 17/10/10@23:13
hi to all holden fans, my name is Brian and i,m the guy chasing my stolen i.d tags for my Sebring Orange / Sandalwood interior HT Bathurst monaro. Hopefully some day not too far away someone will make that magic phone call saying they have my tags , that would be one of the best phone calls ever. Something else I,d really love to know is the cars history so I.m hoping someone in melbourne may remember the car? When i bought the HT in 1999 it had centerline type wheels and it had the wrong HG style thick black stripes running along the bottom of the sides, it was also painted black under the rear bumper bar and it did,nt have the HT rally stripes, but it had the HT hood stripes. The guy i bought it from was a good bloke and told me that the HT had been off the road for 6 or 7 years of the 9 years he had owned it and he said the gentleman that owned it before him use to use it mainly for towing his boats down Phillip Island way I think he said. The car has had a after market Hurst shifter fitted to it sometime during its life and instead of just cutting a hole in the floor it looks like they,ve welded in a new section and the welds are brass welds so maybe someone will remember doing this to the HT them selfs or they may know who did? Also the left hand side of the rear parcel shelf has been roughly repaired with what looks like a welded in sheet of galvanise iron. I,m hoping someone will remember these features and make contact regarding the history of my HT. Thanks Holden People
