have motor and wondering if it is from a gtr i have herd of these motors 3100x ...my gtr eng is jp and i have jl..but dont know the 3100x and what it is from cheers dave

3100x could be 186 lc xu1?

Yes, LC XU-1 pre HQ release. After HQ release they were CK prefixed.

3100X is early LC XU-1, CK is late LC XU-1 (7/71 onwards), JP is LJ XU-1, JL is not only LJ GTR but any LJ 202, it was a common option for 1973 LJ S & SL.
