My 2007 bf wagon front end shakes when i apply the brakes, it vibrates when i just touch them travelling at 60klm etc.

any thoughts?

yeah, the falcons are supposed to be worse than the crummydores which is really saying something.

my vz needed 3 machines on one set of (factory) rotors.

just skim 'em and put 'em back on, supposedly aftermarket stuff like DBA etc arent anywhere near as bad but the stockers are s***e.

went quicker and faster, just not quick enough.

now being rebuilt with less cam, much less comp, and a turbo.

flick the stock rotors and get the decent aftermarket ones. Ford never did bother to get that issue right. Such a simple fix that would have had a lot less disgruntled customers.

I think it's just the pad material glazing on the rotors.

You should be able to get rotor and new pads for $200ish (front & back). I just replaced mine today for that very same reason. It's not worth machining them as the shake will come back. Spend the money on new rotors. If you fit it all yourself? Make sure you grease the slides (marine grade bearing grease is great) and clean all the rust and scale off hubs. May as well adjust your handbrake while your there too. :)
