need to replace diff seal in my eh .does any one know what the tension for the pinion flange nut is .

EJ section of the EJ EH shop manual has under torque wrench specifications." Differential pinion shaft nut(oiled threads) 100-120 ft/pounds."
This is the 5/8 nut on the end of he pinion shaft.

Hi its also important to punch mark the nut and the pinion shaft and then align these marks when you retension, this will give you your original preload on the old bearing. Some times retensioning old bearings back up to new factory torque settings can cause problems.
