Hi guys, a bloke at work here has some questions about the XA GT coupe.

were wheel arch moulding standard or and option?

what are a set of factory period hustlers worth in fair condition?

what is the CFM of the Carter thermoquad on it? and what numbers should it carry.?

cheers

1. Wheel arch moulds were standard issue on all XA GTs. Only the one production Phase 4 car had them removed due to clearance issues on the Factory issued bathurst globe wheels
2. Option 52 wheels are the factory hustler wheels. these range from $200 unrestored to around $400-$500 restored on ebay. I have sold three stes of these wheels in the last year and have a set on my ZF 351 fairlane. They were 14x6 and made ROH Australia. For an XA coupe he needs top ensure that they are small hub wheels (62mm). Around mid 1975 these changed to large hub centres (67mm)
3. Standard issue carb on non RPO 83 XA GT would be an Autolite 4300 4 barrel 600cfm. (RPO83 would be a 780 cfm Holley with manual choke)
