Hi a problem happened after I dropped my partner at work and was driving home the battery light came on my air con turned of my abs light came on and all my dials went as though I had turned them off, now when I slowed right down to turn a corner all the dash lights came on like when u first start the car then the dials came back to life for 10 seconds or so then the same happened again, any help would be greatful

going by other posts sounds like the ABS module needs replacing.

thanks for that cloudy have read many but was hopping for possible quick fix out there but the one difference is that my engine light is not coming on which is strange and everyone else reports engine light is also on

have since been for a drive and went and saw a mate who knows a thing or two about cars, only the battery light came on this time and we put a multimeter on it to find that is was over charging please help if anyone knows what causes this.

Yep, I'd be tipping a new reg as well. If it's a V6, it's really easy to change, and will set you back about $60-70 for a new one. Make sure you disconnect the battery before touching it.
V8 ones are a pain in the butt, as they are mounted down low.

Oh - just a tip for the ABS module - it will cause the Christmas tree effect with all the lights, but it doesn't affect the dials.
Over/under voltage will cause the same lot of lights (the Airbag & ABS trigger the lights as they sense the low/high voltage) and all the dials drop to 0 and then pop back up to resume their readings when the volts are back to normal.

I've seen a couple of cars doing this now, and the owners have replaced the ABS module, only to find they didn't need to, once they'd fitted new alternator/regulator.

hey guys thanks for the tips have changed the regulator and all is good was dreading that abs module change but got out of this one alot cheaper. cheers again
