Hi all , is it fact that the GTS HT monaros came out with lighter rear springs and why?

It is half right.

Th HK was said to be too stiff on rough roads etc, so GM-H changed the suspnsion on HT.

On the 186S GTS they made the front bush bigger but left the spring rate the same.

On the V8 they left the HK springs in the manual and fitted HK sedan rear springs to autos.
