Who is (or was) Betts Electric Motors ?
Did they supply all of the ventilation fan motors HQ-Z
Ive seen a couple of these fans with the decals and wondering if they all had them stuck on when new?

Hi Rigpig. This is my first post on this great forum and I just wanted to ask if I can pick your brains re the Betts heater fan motor. Were you the purchaser? The reason I ask is that I have one of these Betts motors on my HZ but the original decal is RS and would like to obtain the details (numbers) on it with the view to getting a repro decal produced.Even if you had the ebay item number would be great so I could track down the purchaser.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Howdy John no I didnt bid on it and didnt keep it in my favs so I'm not sure who the seller or buyer was.
I think it ended up selling for almost $200 so I wasnt going there.
If I find a better photo somewhere I'll let you know.
Let me know if you get a reproduced decal, I know someone who wants one too . . . oh and welcome to the forum :-)

Hi Rigpig, thanks for the welcome.Hopefully someone out there in Holden land will still have one of these decals intact so that I can get the numbers off.The other strange thing is that the Holden part number on this and also the red Lucas decals is 9931066 yet the Holden HX,HZ and also WB parts numbers call up number 9931065.Could Dr Terry or anyone explain this please.By the way the fan motor went for over$300,I bid upto about $250.
Cheers

Hi Rigpig
Cheers for the update on that Betts heater decal.Actually I managed to track down the purchaser of that motor on Ebay and he was kind enough to send me some detailed pictures of the decal and with these Grafix Unlimited was able to produce the repros that you showed from his website. An excellent job was made of them and I have no hesitation in recommending the guys at grafix for any decals that you need.
Cheers
