Just wondering what would be involved in changing a stock 250 in excellent condition in an xy into a 250 2v.I already have the extractors and a 350 holley. Is there any work to do to the engine before getting the head and manifold on?

I put a 2v head on a 250 in my xw,all I had to change was the throttle linkage. U can go cable.I found an original throttle linkage at a wreakers down south, paid $80 delivered . the linkage on the standed head pulls sideways .the 2v pulls front to back.

I think that the extractors are different between 2V and Log heads.
