It was a bad week for the next EH Build budget. At least it is all car stuff though. Edited by user Monday, 15 September 2014 5:36:24 AM(UTC)

Looking forward to following this. Your efforts in documenting your builds is sensational. As is your work itself.

The new front end is infinitely better than the HR setup. I now easily feel the rear end getting loose and now realise it also needs upgrading to take advantage of the capabilities of the front. The HR setup would understeer and had some bump steer. It was also very firm however still bottomed out over pot holes. There were regular clunks from that setup. Now travelling over the exact same roads there is not a single knock or thud. The steering is obviously massively improved as that was the whole purpose of the change. The BMW rack powered by the electric Astra pump is still heavyish but nowhere near that of the old HR/Torana setup. You can steer and turn full lock now and do it with one hand. Overall I'm really happy...

Everything used on the setup was made by me or just original Holden parts.

No Keith, I wish I had the facilities to do it. The lovely wife told me she wouldn't put up with the mess and loss of the garage for a couple of months. I took my design to a local trailer maker and they built it to my plan. We made a few compromises like the guards because they weren't willing to use the style I wanted. Turned out ok but just not the same as what I would have made myself.
