I reckon if they are "pristine" condition about a $1000 if they are complete...this is just my opinion though,I dont have a monaro ,not that having one makes you an expert ,but they know what they would pay..opinions may vary!!

Call Greg at Classicozreck. He'll give you an honest answer what they are worth. He may even know someone that will buy them.

People often ask for proof of no rust. Are there pictures to show the shells in bare metal?

If it is made of iron, I assure you it will rust.
If it is old or rare - Cut it! http://www.ehlimo.com.au/

i believe youre missing th point.

surface rust showing thru original paint is usually repairable

HQ doors are almost impossibe to find with no rust, & coupe doors TEN times harder!!

ive only seen ONE pair rust free coupe doors for HQ - X in last 15yrs & i still have em

Surface rust often means rust has made its way 100% of the way from inside the panel to the outside. A rust hole. I make panels every day for cars that have "surface rust bubbles" and they often need whole new bottom panel section made to remove all rust inside.

The point is that people like to know what proof they have of there being no rust.

You are correct. After rust is cut out and replaced, it will start rusting again. Steel is made of iron, and iron rusts. All cars were new once. They all rust. The glass is half empty this time.
