does anyone know of anywhere i could get a coolant level sensor/switch that goes in the side of coolant bottle ea 3.9 multi point.Preferably not through ford they charge an arm and a leg they want 250 for bottle without sensor. Any help would be great. cheers

Don't forget to buy the new mounting rubber grommet too as they are usually stuffed too!

Have you tried your local cooling system specialist or radiator repairer?

There is not much to go wrong with them as they are only a float with a switch attached. The pivot/hinge for the float may have seized up so a good clean may fix it.
