Hi All
I have a 1977 HZ V8 manual premier and the brakle booster is on its way out. Does anyone have an idiots guide to change the booster

Hi there, what do you need to know exactly. Pretty simple procedure really, 4 nuts on the back of booster under dash, they are a bit hard to get to. Undo brake lines of master cyl and pull out. When refitting bleed brakes of course .Best bet is to take whole unit to a brake specilalist a get it recoed. pretty cheap as there aint much to em.

You will also need to undo the split pin and take out the pin that connects the brake lever to the booster rod. Take note of the length of the thread on the rod and match the new one to it as adjusting it once its installed is a pain as the brake lever pedal gets in the way. I hope this helps.
