whats your budget and expectation?

this will determine who gets recomended.

ps: a pallet is cheap, you can widen your search considerably if you like.

Well I'm not sure. I guess I'd need to talk to a specialist first to get and idea of what bucks I need to get the bangs. I'm looking for a good street engine. Nice to drive but hopefully with a bit of go too. It's going into a Kingswood so it doesn't have to be super powerfull, just a good bit of torque and a good V8 sound.

Where abouts are you? I can recommend a quality builder with a long history including V8's, GroupA&C, Sprint cars and currently a brace of Historic Touring cars. Lot of Aussie V8 work in there. Small shop, no glam, no advertising, just results. Northern beaches of Sydney.
