Are the HQ panels out of production or just out of stock? (I noticed they are not on the catalogue any more)
Any eta on when you will have them back in?

Also are you setting the press up so you can do a half and half for HJ-Z tonners with the HQ / Commercial front?
(I bought one of the HQ ones when they were in stock and I am tossing up on whether to keep it for my HQ or to cut the dash frame off to fit to my tonner)

The first batch of HQ ones were correct, The second batch rejected due to a production fault. This is being revised and correct stock to be produced, hopefully here by the end of this year. The HJ sample was checked recently and requires slight correction with a new sample due soon. Once approved they will be produced and should be very early 2015. The commercials can be considered once the standard ones are corrected.

The factory advises that the revised sample should be coming to us very soon. we will then test it and if approved they will begin production. The stock should then be here very early 2015. We will keep the forum advised. The delay is regrettable but vital that the part is correct.

Is there any chance of supplying just the crash pad retaining strip on it's own for those (me!) that have early HQs???

As you say the first HQ's didn't have the retaining strip but after the crash pads buckled in the heat they were soon added. The factory produces these cowls as a complete finished item at present. They have already produced enough stock for the next few months. I will discuss this request with them.

Hi Tour Director,
Did you have this discussion yet? If so, what was the outcome?

I have just returned from the factory visit. As advised previously the factory had already completed the HQ cowls and had moved onto the HJ production. they are not prepared to supply just the strips by themselves as they prefer to sell a complete panel.

Well if someone wants one fitted like factory original, we have a spot welder at work. No weld joins.
