Hi all
Back again after a spell.
I tried to put my handbrake on the other day (HJ sedan) and I noticed three things.
1. The little button on the end was gone.
2. There is no clicking as I lift the hand brake.
3. The hand brake has tension and does bring the brakes on when I lift it.
Can I fix it or do I need to get the whole mechanism replaced?

I would replace it with one that works,from memory they can be a pain to fix.
And if you do get the original fixed then you have a spare or you can sell it.
