Guys anyone removed & replaced a complete roof on a hq- wb ute ? Are all the ute roofs the same on all models ? ie hq same as wb ?

HQ-WB ute and tonner roofs are the same. Get an oxy into the lead join at the top of the quarter just behind the drip rail and it'll melt away and show you the factory join. Unpick along the drip rails, across the top of the windscreen, across the rear screen and you'll probably have to cut through the join under the lead. When you re-do it, and if you lead wipe it again, get in and spray some rust converter and then fish oil or paint under the lead wipe - this is the reason they always rust right at the back of the drip rails, as the oirignal heat used to lead wipe started oxidisation inside. |

Thamks for the advise im going off to pick up a new 2nd hand roof on the weekend so good to know we're the original joints actually are, thanks again cheers mark
