A mate of mine was just given a HQ kingswood which he wants to use it in burnout comps and stuff like that, but has to be driven on the road to.
It has a red 202 with 350 holley, gennie extractors and 2 1/4 inch exhaust and a 16 inch thermo fan replacing the belt driven fan. It also runs dual fuel.
The problem is the car doesn't do a burn out, lol, which is a bit of a problem for a burn out car. He said he wants to keep it dual fuel.
I've seen stock 202 on petrol do a burn out in a hz no dramas, my hj with a 202 and dual fuel doesn't do a burnout either.
What things should he do to it so he can get enough power to do a burn out? He said he wants to keep the cost down a grand at the most.
Cheers guys

a 202 in a HQ is not a good power to weight ratio in the first place , a grand will not make a winner at the burnout comps , 202`s blow the tops off pistons normally # 5 or 6 goes. he could go line lockers disabling the rear brakes but they are not legal

The main use this car will have on the street is driving to and from the track. He doesn't want the car to be a winner just to have a bit of fun and knock it around a bit.
I suggested him to put the washer bottles in the boot, we picked up a pair from

One simple way to Make that baby Burn is to drop a Diff center with a Numrical 'Higher' gear set! As is its likely around 2.75. Look at the six cyl tonner Centers, for around 3.08 or 3.55. Fit a Cheap-ass Tacho(Watch to watch RPM). As stated, The week de |

I would say the diff is more likely a 3.55 or 3.36. A tonner is 4.11 I think so burnouts are more possible.

whack in a lumpy cam for under $300 DIY, port and shave the head. Use one of the wiper bottles in the boot to run a line to the tail pipe with smoke machine fluid in it (make sure you use a one way valve) for extra smoke!! Buy an LSD diff off ebay if yo |
