I have to remove the fascia which goes around the single din radio on the VR. The heater is stuck on, I have replaced the heater valve but still cooks me in hot weather
The Gregorys says to lever the panel out from the bottom but it seems too stiff and I don't want to break anything.
is there a clip or something.

Your will need to remove the panel around the gearshift. That will give you access to the 3 screws at your panel's lower edge. It will then 'clip' out.

You may not need to remove that panel however. Have a look down a the lower RH-side of the heater case (in the footwell area). There is a small vacuum switch there which operates the heater valve, it is usually out of adjustment.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0
