Got a call from a mate in a tizz because he replaced the battery in his car and now he has no headlights, electric windows, air con or radio. (maybe some others as well)
He asures me that he did not short anything out when he replaced the battery.
Engine starts and drives no problems, he just does not have those accesories working.
He did tell me that he jump started the car the day before, but the issue only arose when he changed the battery.
So before I head down for a look, is there something I should be looking for? I am thinking that he has blown one of the big fuses under the bonnet.
But could it be a little more serious... like computer??
Thanks for any leads you can give me.
Cheers

No idea! I know where it is on HQ-HZ! Dr Teery is possibly your best bet here. |

Just had a look over this piece of junk.
All the fuses are fine, as are all the relays.
Just that some of the fuses are not getting any power.
So fusible link looks like the go. But I have no idea where it is or what to look for, so it is off to the auto elec.

Turns out the BCM has died. $275 at a wrecker... or triple that new.
Mate not a happy camper. He has had nothing but trouble with this car.
