Hi,
I was wondering if anybody has access to good instructions on fitting and correctly adjusting the door and rear quarter glass in HQ coupes. I am going through that part of my project at the moment and having a few issues to say the least. I have looked at the available after market manuals that I can find without success, I have a HQ parts book and it shows what bits go where to a degree but not how. It also lacks details on rubber and trim. Any ideas or tips much appreciated.

If you have no luck here or on oldholden.com, how about looking at some American cat manuals on line?

This one is a thread on a '70 Malibu.

GM interchangeability being what it is, I reckon you'll find some
ideas.

Thats all I can think of.

Cheers.

Been there done that. Bit of a bugger first time, but the factory or aftermarket workshop manuals have a description of how it goes.

Thanks guys, I have just purchased the Holden Body and sheet metal manual online, so I'll see how it goes once it arrives. The glass may be an issue yet as I bought a set that was supposedly old stock from Roadrunner windscreens that as far as I could find out were meant to be OK. I am going to pull one side out and compare with an original, overlayed with no fittings. The glass I bought has no markings on it what so ever so I am beginning to think Chinese. Bit of a problem buying stuff for resto's as sometimes it's a while before you discover you have bought rubbish.
