Was wondering if anyone can help me with some tyre sizes for the rear of a p5 1974 LTD?
Im going to have the back rims widend from a 15x6 to a 15x8 the car has been lowered couple of inches.
I want a tyre thats going to fill up those rear guards but not cause any rubbing scrapping issues. If anyone coul help that would be great

Depends a bit on your wheel offset. I'd try 245s and see what you think. I know 265/14s would squeeze under with a slight inner lip shave. Not sure about 15s.

I would say that a 225 60 15 should fit on an 8 inch rim, and would look wide enough for the wheel arch, and should be cheaper and easier to find? Just my 2 cents worth.

as long as your rim offset is right, you should fit a 265/60/15 no probems at all. ive got 245/60/15's on the rear of my ZH and they fit with a good 15-20mm to the inside of the guards on either side of the tyre. No problems with lowering hte car either, you can only see about 10mm of tyre on mine between the rim and the guard.

Ok sounds good, any chance you could put up a pick of the back wheel and wheel arch?
