Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a 1966 HR X2 Ute

posted on carsales

Beautifully presented Holden HR ute for sale, rare opportunity to own this 'one of a kind' ute in this condition with X2 optional extras. Ex-show car, premier HR interior with original radio, POWER STEERING, new reconditioned 2 speed power-glide, new reconditioned Twin X2 Strombergs running a new reconditioned 186k X2 motor with yella terra head and roller rockers, new unleaded conversion, mild cam, new radiator and twin thermo-fan setup, new exhaust running off original-rare X2 headers, front disc brakes, new rear drums and pads, too much to list, all receipts, $$$ spent, no time wasters - genuine buyers only. Much loved vehicle, selling due to upcoming wedding. Spare parts in tray included.

Yes, you could option an HR ute with those items listed. i.e. X2, Powerglide, front disc brakes & power steering were common on HRs, but an unusual combination on a ute.

Yes i agree with unusual, especially when it has X2 badges on the grille as well as both front guards and rear LHS

Only the grille badge is incorrect (it was HD only), but it was a common mod back in the day.
