I think that you should not use large pink font. Dr Terry |
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |

I looked at all this type of car for my Mrs mid last year. I drove them all. We ended up with an 11 month old demo Lexus RX350, but of all those cars in the size and range you are talking about I liked the ix35 or Kia Sorrento (same basic car) in either a 2.4 petrol or TD Highlaner (this is the ix35). The small petrol engine ix35 was gutless (2.0L from memory). The Subaru XVis a good car except for its engine, feels like a sewing machine under the bonnet. We didn't try the CX5 as it was brand new and not available to test drive at the time, but I drove the CX7 which has much more power (as it is a turbo) but it was awfully underpowered.
My pick if you are looking at a great car for a decent price would be a demonstrator or low kM secondhand V6 Kluger or Rav4. Or failing that the ix35 - good quality car and a 5 year warranty. When we looked at the ix35 diesel there was no particulate filter on them, so check it still doesn't before buying a diesel one.
My personal opinions anyway! |
