I notice alot smoother opperation with out and rough with it in. The PCV has been cleaned with fuel recently. Is this normal??? if not any option to fix???
cheers james

Hi James, If you shake the PCV valve when it is out of the motor, does it rattle? If not, clean it out with carby cleaner. I assume you are blocking the port on the carb where the PCV hooks to when you are doing this? If not, she may be running a bi Edited by user Monday, 19 June 2006 10:55:12 AM(UTC)

If you don't want to run a PCV, then an alternative is to run a catch tank, vented into the air cleaner housing (or even run the rocker vent straight into air cleaner housing (and block off the PCV input into the Carby).
This ensures that any blowby is |
