hi the last couple of weeks I've had about half a dozen calls asking if i can get hold of an lc torana grille for them .i know these grilles are hard to get hold of in good condition due to the fact they are made from aluminum which is pron to breaking and denting .I'm just wondering if any one has them in the reproduction pipe line as i think there would be a good demand for them .anyone else looking for one ?

The grilles are under tooling development right now, however they will take a bit more time to ensure the tool produces an item that is 100%. When they produce a sample it has to be inspected and approved before any production.
At the minimum it is probably 4-5 months away from release. Any news will be posted as soon as known.

This is a photo of the tooling under development. While it looks as nearly completed there is a lot of the finer work to be done on the pattern.

This is completely new tooling as indicated in the past posts. The original GMH tooling went many years ago.Due to the complexity to reproduce this grille it is taking some time to perfect.When a sample is tested and approved it will be advised on the forums.

The factory have had a lot of issues trying to get this right. They have put it to one side for now while they get some other projects completed. They will be contacted for an update on what is happening and the answer noted here.

I have just contacted the factory that makes many of these products and they have not managed to resolve their tooling at present. It is not a priority item for them, however they have advised they will revisit the item and keep us informed. We will keep following them up and advise any results when known.

Unfortunately the factory has not progressed with this product due to the many issues they had trying to make it. Their idea of how to do the tooling has not worked and they have moved on to other products. It was not as easy as they thought.
