Engine casting date Feb 1969, 1st registered 30th May 69.

Would be go to know the real date of the block most probably the prefix B is an E and it would be a early May cast block i would think.

I've seen 308 and 253 blocks with numbers lower than that cast back in 1968, so Feb isn't out of the question.

when did the timing cover change with respect to the timing marks on the holden V8? - simular to the chev which changed in 1967
