I was just wondering if anyone here had fitted the monaro rear quarter sections that run from the door edge to halfway over the wheel arch and up to the rear quarter window, how do they fit please

I am just in the process of fitting the passenger side section and it is not exactly the same as the original. Will need some work to make it fit, although better then a flat piece of steel. |

So are they worth the investment, mine has the typical rust where the rear side window is and the lower filler section too, I will be removing the full quarter through spotwelds and need the lower filler section anyway. Does anyone know if the lower filler repair section is acurate. I would have thought that these new repair section were a good fit

The repair section I have purchased is not the same as the factory along the bottom edge. It is like the fold is not square to the sill - the back part sits nicely but at the front it is out by about 2mm. Doesn't sound like much but it will look like s$%t if you don't fix it. In terms of investment what are you going to do if you don't purchase it? Removing the entire quarter panel (from door jamb to tailight) is a huge job. |

I just figure that I need to unpick the front of the quarter anyway, around the front of the wheelarch, below the rear side window, also need to replace the rear lower quarter so need to unpick the rear wheelarch section and aslo the rear beaver needs replacement or fixing, Its really not that much to unpick the rest and repair the full quarter properly but we'll see what happens when I actually go to do it, I have done a few in the past and altho time consuming you end up with a great result, Do you have any pics of the missalinement of the panel at all, could you email me some? Thanks
